- A PDF (Portable Document
Format) file describes documents containing any combination
of text, graphics, and images. Documents can be one page or
thousands of pages, very simple or extremely complex making
use of elaborate fonts, graphics, color, and images. The PDF
conversion and viewing process uses FREE Adobe conversion
software,

PDF is a unique format that
allows the identical presentation of a file without regard
to the software and hardware used to view it. These files
are a perfect vehicle for sharing information among the
diverse environments that make up the Internet. Nearly all
informational web sites use PDF files.
- Graphics are embedded in
the document (they appear in the document exactly as
they do in hardcopy).
- File sizes can be kept
very small (on a standard-speed modem, one page
transfers in about two seconds).

text-searchable using
