I plan on going to to Ennis. I live in The Colony. You want to meet some were off of George Bush or on Central south of George Bush.

What time would you like to leave?

Do you mean Reliable? Or Huffines on Coit? I would say leave Plano at 8:00 It takes an hour to get there. What time is it over? Depends on if your winning or not. If you go out in the first round you'll be home by noon. If you keep winning you'll home closer to 5:00 if you are top eliminator.

Is anyone else going?

I would like to extend an open invitation to all club members to join us at Ennis. Because going to a quarter mile drag strip is the only way to really see if all the modifications you have done to your car is really worth the time and money. And you can not get a ticket for laying rubber and winding the old girl all out.

Don't be too afraid of breaking because you don't have to drive it all out. It is a bracket race. You really only have to run the same time every time to win. I have a weak rear end so I don't come out of the hole all that fast and lay off when shifting. I may be able to run faster than I do but I have to drive my car home therefore I take it a little easy. Even though I don't run all out I have won my class twice.

And besides it is fun to watch the real race cars and you get to enjoy the club fellowship.

Food for thought.

Also Dennis G will you come out to play? I'd love to see your car pull the wheels out of the hole!

I plan to go to the Drive-In on Saturday and would like to be in Ennis on Sunday...HOWEVER the 21st is our 41st wedding anniversary so we'll just have to see! Dianne enjoys the racing so if nothing else is planed we'll be there. I think Tim is going out of town and not sure if he will be back in time.
GOOD LUCK!!
Larry
