Ed, the seat frame and seat mounting in a 55 and 56 are the same. Glide makes a lot of different seats, so maybe the one you saw that was too tall was not for a tri-5. The Glide seats for a 55/56 are supposed to accept the original reproduction upholstery with little modification. I think their tapered split back for tri-5's are taller than stock. http://www.glideeng.com/products.htm |
