Today was the Dallas Area Classic Chevy's Summer Cruise with the Central Oklahoma Classic Chevy Club. We crused to Pelican's Landing at Lake Texoma. It was a fun tour and a total success. Thanks to Bill and Diane for being our line leaders. We met in Lewisville, Texas. 14 cars arrived for the start of the tour.

We drove to Pilot Point and picked up another member for a total of 15 cars. The drive went through scenic North Texas Wink passing over the Lake Ray Roberts Dam.

Pelican’s Landing blocked off a drive for us to park our cars for a show and shine.

Not long after we arrive the Oklahoma CC arrived. They brought 3 cars and were very nice people.

After a meet and greet we walked to the restaurant for lunch.

On the drive home we had some famous Texas rain while the sun was still shining. Texas lore states that when you have the sun shining and rain at the same time it means the Devil is beating his wife. The Devils wife gave us just enough rain to make you car dirty.Mad The rain did cool off the 93 degree heat a little.

Too bad you had to pull off on the way to Dennis' place. He has a very impressive collection of vehicles and an even more impressive garage to put them in. I went home and kicked my garage. Hurt my foot.

John.
