I will not be able to make it.

My last outing a lower a-frame bushing with bolt and washer fell off bending the A-frame. I shorted and burnt up my ignition wires from the voltage regulator to key switch to the starter. My power steering pump sprang a leak that made an oil slick the size of Rode Island under and all over my garage floor. And, God's last little gift is that all my fan belts want to fly off under hard acceleration. I have yet to fix or solve any of these problems and don't think I will before the weekend.

I am in a car hating mood for the moment, which I hope I get out of soon.

I have been having bad day dreams where I sell all my crap and buy a new Corvette. If I am ever lucky enough to ride in Larry's that may be the camel that broke the straw. No wait, never mind.

Alan, why don't you just tell it like it is? You'll get it fixed and be happy again just like the rest of us who have had the "CAR BLUES"!

If it was easy, 'everybody would own an old car'.

New cars are no fun....Ya never have [opportunity]to work on 'em!!

I plan on going. Have not run it on a quarter mile track should be fun.
