This is a complete 67-79 Camaro rear professionally modified to fit in a 55-57 Chevy.
It will bolt right in and hook up to your factory emergency brake cables.

The width is 60" drum to drum which is the exact same as the stock 55-57 Chevy differential.
It is complete with newer 5 leaf springs (heavier duty than stock), shock brackets,
U-bolts, everything. The spring perches are professionally welded and nice quality.
This was not a backyard install, it was done by a professional driveline shop.

I rode in the car before I bought it and the rear end seemed to work well and the brakes stopped fine.
It is a single track and not sure what the gears are but would guess that they are probably 3.08 or so.
(I've never opened the back cover)
It will just need a bit of cleaning and I would suggest putting a $6.00 pinion seal in it, paint it, and go.
I'm only selling because I'm going to a 4 link/9inch Ford setup.

$400 OBO for the complete package. Will trade for a nice 2 stage compressor or plasma cutter.
