I will be running Corvette wheels on my 55. When I mounted one I found that the studs have just enough threads to engage all threads. Is this enough or do I need to install longer studs?????? |

Normal recommended safe practice is to have 2 threads visable. If these are the original 7/16" 1955 studs it is recommended they eventually be replaced as a matter of prudence. Oh yes, always use a torque wrench on wheel studs. _________________ "A Classic Car is Not Aerodynamic" |
