I'll be there with my Black Barge '56 sedan delivery car. Let's cook something this outing for lunch. Any ideas/suggestions?

Alan - bring your '57 and run! I think I am going to bring the Vette and race it .. no high RPM launches, just nice and easy and see how far I can get!

Not to worry Kenneth, For any leaks... I'll have some extra diapers to stuff around the leaks to get through the race. Laughing Laughing

ok guys, Tom is bringing his charcoal cooker and cold drinks, I got the hamburgers and hot dogs, buns, and chips - if we don't do good in the racing part at least we won't be hungry .. and LOOK FOR TOM'S white enclosed trailer and black '56 Delivery, that will be Team DC headquarters in the pits! The weather is looking to be perfect so plan to join us!

Anybody interested in arriving very early with me at the track gate to save some space for the club? I'll bring some breakfast for us.

nice turnout for DACC at Denton, myself in my '56 Vette, Tom Walker with his '56 Sedan Delivery, James Carson with his '57 Bel Air and Kenneth Burton with his '56 210 Sedan, Alan Strong and Dennis Gormley came without cars and supported the DACC effort, we got a few round wins in, had burgers and dogs with a great sunny warm day to race in, below a few photos and videos from the day ...

Chris sure can take good photos...
And for the rest of the story. At the end of the day's event David found a drywall screw imbedded in one of his rear tires for his mind to ponder during the trip home. I get back to the house and find a piece of heavy staple wire puncturing a trailer tire that's almost flat. Then, this AM my diesel truck dies in front of the house and won't restart. Thanks Triple A Texas! The truck had to be towed to the dealership. AAA membership is good insurance when things happen too fast. And we're back on the highway after a fuel filter housing replacement. Too easy.
BTW: Those posted videos are awesome. Those guys, James and David, make it look like a cruise down Camp Bowie or Forest Lane.
Oh yes thanks Alan for the culinary contribution, we all benefited. And in 2 weeks will repeat this venue.
