While many were in San Marcos for Lone Star XXX, on Saturday just down the road at San Antonio Raceway a good turnout of Tri Five Chevys took part in the Nostalgia race including DACC's Sonny Poteet with his blown '55 Bel Air hardtop. Congrats to Sonny who went several rounds in his class. It was a DACC pit area of sorts with Sonny and I pitting together with me where my son and I continued to get him seat time in our nostalgia dragster with 4 runs that day!
