The TMCCC Awards Banquet was this weekend. All four of our regular participants were awarded "outstanding performer" wall plaques for achieving more than 23 points throughout the course of the season.
They had a very good turnout with lots of door prizes. My pit crew was very lucky and each member had their ticket pulled to receive a prize. One daughter received $50 in cash while the other received a large Coleman ice chest.
Team "DC" fared well this year, but did not land within the top three places in the team competition. (something to shoot for next year!)
I picked up the plaques for all members. Send me a PM if you want to make arrangements to meet to collect your plaque or I'll get them to you at the first race next year.
Looking forward to Spring already... |

Thanks Jim,
I agree we have a target for next year. That being getting into the top 3 for the club's class. So....any new DACC members interested in this commitment in 2014? It's good competition! Any member interested can get the best advise from the club members that drag race. We don't need fast cars but the slow consistant cars that can win rounds. _________________ "A Classic Car is Not Aerodynamic" |
