The Old Mill Restaurant in Fair Park. We always ate there on the last night we attended the State Fair. We also liked to go there to eat before attending the Dallas Summer Musicals at Fair Park, 909 1st Ave, Dallas, TX 75210

Hop-a-Ride---Dallas' only mass transit at one time. The Pink buses with rabbit ears and whiskers, the Hop-a-Bus system operated around downtown Dallas in the 1970s and ’80s.

Texas Stadium on its last day on this earth. The Stadium made so God could see his team play. Don't believe me, ask anyone from Texas.

A Photo of the old Texas Stadium during happier times.

I remember the first time I pulled off 35E to buy liquor. No one told me the store was next to the gun range. I must admit getting out of the car and hearing gun shots gave me pause.

1984 was the year Green Valley Raceway closed I believe, while known for the drag races that took place there it also had a great road course that saw the likes of Parnelli Jones, Carroll Shelby and more at various times in it's 20 plus year history .. here is a You Tube video of the entire Trans Am race that took place there in 1984 ..
