Hello,

I was excited to find your site on hemmings.com. I live in Flower Mound and have been watching the classified ads on various sites and the newspaper for quite some time.

Not really sure what specific vehicle that I'm looking for and when I find something that I like, I'm unsure what problem areas to look for.

I'm sorta limited by my budget and would like to get something in decent condition but certainly nothing fully restored (too much money) but not a basket case either.

If you had a $5k-$6k budget, what would you expect on a coupe, sedan, or wagon? I see a '56 Bel Air for sale in Burleson. What do I look for? Does anyone on here live out that way that could look at it with me?

Thanks a whole bunch.

Jeff

Welcome to the chat room. Have you been to our web site? http://www.dallasclassicchevy.com/

You may have alread looked at Ebay but it is a good place to get a feel for prices. I bought a 150 instead of a Bel Air because it was $4,000 less expensive.

Join the club and you will gave a great many of friends to help you out. We have several members and board member that live in Flower Mound. We are having a meeting on Jan 15. See the web page for details.

Jeff,

I live in Flower Mound and am retired and would be happy to
look at anything with you. Call me and we can discuss what you
want and arrange a time to go look at anything. (405) 412-0502
I know... It's not a Flower Mound phone # (long story)

Also come on over to the meeting Sunday at the DFW Sheraton
on John Carpenter Freeway at 2 pm and get acquainted.
