Who is tired of "Winter Events?" If it snows or ices on the day of the Garage Crawl on March 14, I am giving up all hope for life and move to California.

My best vacation in California was in 1985. I went in march. I stayed in the Valley. It was a nice 75 in the Valley. I drove to Mount Baldy to throw a snow ball then took the Harbor Freeway to the coast and swam in the ocean! _________________ Texas Classic Chevy Experience

When I lived there I did that several times... The weather can't be beat.. Low humidity high 40's in the morning in winter, climbing to 70s just after lunch... I lived in Anaheim, San Dimas, Tustin and Buena Park... it was nice.. just a little crowded... _________________ Thanks,

It is magic there. Been to SF twice on business. Crab cakes and a martini at Scomas on the pier, wine in Napa, dinner on the beach in Carmel.
But it is kind of pricey, too. _________________ I'm addicted to brake fluid but I can stop anytime I want. |

|

As you know the Garage Crawl will be next week end. To insure that the group will make our time table; I plan to drag up the rear of the caravan and help anyone who may have problems. Unlike, Tom's training at Boot Camp in Cally, we will leave you behind.
I am looking for a volunteer to be my second to provide a rear guard.
If you would like to help and bring your tools PM me.

I have one person signed up. I would still like to have one more. Anyone, Anyone?
Thanks.
The Crawl is going to be pure greatness. I get goosebumps every time I think of how much fun we will have at our club members' unbelievable garages.

Marvin Cowden and I on Monday made our final route check for the Garage Crawl. The garages are all ready for our arrival. Parking is ample and safe. Marvin the cruise wizard has mapped out great caravan routes for our commute from stop to stop. It will be like a mini cruise in between the garages. How can you miss driving in the country side, south of Arlington? Well it is not on the Top 10 of Scenic Drives, but at least it is not watching the BooB Tube hearing sleet hitting your windows. RIGHT! At least, the roads are good, not congested and have no major pot holes. Marvin is a great tour guide. He has not lost a club member yet. We take the drive "Easy Like" we don't drive like we are late for work!
I hoping for a big turn out. I guarantee you will not feel repented after experiencing the first ever Garage Crawl.
We hope to see you there. You will be missed if you are not there at the Crawl!

The DACC Garage Crawl is today, Saturday, March 14.
To participate in the crawl meet the caravan at 701 N Watson Rd., Arlington, Tx at 8:30 AM. We leave to go to the first Garage at 9:00 AM.

Our first Garage Crawl was an overwhelming success!
Huge thanks to Mike Reeves and Michael Brown for allowing us inside their incredible garages. Simply over the top! And another huge thanks to Alan Strong and Marvin Cowden for coordinating and executing today's Crawl. Photos soon on the DACC Facebook page and website. _________________ In My Garage -

I second David's comments concerning the Crawl. Alan & Marvin did a great job setting this up
We also had a great group of club members and we enjoyed the fellowship
Our club members have some Very pretty cars cruising the roads!! _________________ in my Garage:

I wish to eco thanks to Michael Brown and The Reeves for allowing the club to visit their great garages. I had a blast visiting and exploring each unique garage.
And, special thanks to Marvin the DACC Tour Wizard for designing a caravan route and being the line leader.
It is never too soon to start looking for garages to visit for next year. Andy has volunteered his garage for our next Crawl. Please be on the lookout for an other garage within 45 minutes of the city of Irving.
Send me a PM if you have a or know of a garage to volunteer for next DACC Crawl, March 2016. _________________ Texas Classic Chevy Experience
