Right now here is the plan -

The tradition continues, as Lone Star XXXIV is this weekend hosted by the Central Texas Classic Chevy Club in Waco. DACC members that want to caravan down to Waco can choose an ‘east side’ or ‘west side’ caravan on Friday June 3rd leaving out at about 1:30PM from each location, meeting up just north of Hillsboro where after a fuel up and restroom break the east and west caravans will join together and head south to Waco. If you are interested in the ‘West’ caravan, George Johnson is the coordinator, call him at 817 896-9806 to let him know you will be joining him either at the starting spot or somewhere further down the road. The ‘West’ caravan will travel I-35W beginning in Alvarado at the Quick Trip (exit #26) leaving at 1:30PM. If you are a ‘East’ caravaner, then plan to be at I-35E in Red Oak at Ovilla Road (exit 410B) where the group will leave from the Valero gas station also at 1:30PM. Patrick Briney is coordinating the east side caravan so if you plan to run down 35E contact Patrick at 214 938-3488 and let him know that you will be coming and where you will join the group. Remember Friday evening the schedule includes a free meal and cruise to the Speed Cave of Automobile and Racing Memorabilia. Saturday includes a trip to HGTV’s Chip & Joanna Gaines Magnolia Market and Saturday evening a visit to the Cruise In at the Church of the Open Door. Should be a fun event and complete info is located online at www.LoneStarChevys.com.

Any updates due to weather will be posted here!

For those that didn't go, here's some pictures of what you missed. The turn out was small, but we had a good time in spite of the weather.
