The process is quite simple and the method is similar for most forums. The image must first be uploaded to any server or online photo hosting site.

Go to the image you wish to post, right click it and copy the image address (URL) or you might be able to open the Properties menus and get or copy the full address of the photo (URL).

Then go to your message you wish to post, below the subject line window are edit boxes, the second one from the end on the right is ‘Img’, click that and [img] appears in your message box, type or paste the URL of the photo you wish to post, then click the ‘img’ box again and [/img] will insert in your message box.

For the image to appear, you MUST include the .jpg extension in the URL of the photo.

For example, below is the full URL to a photo of Project X ’57 Chevy. One space has been added after the http: so you can see the how the text is supposed to appear (you wouldn’t normally add a space).
[img]http: //www.imcdb.org/images/053/510.jpg[/img]

When the correct URL is posted without that added space, the image will appear in your message, like this -


Bottom line, this forum requires code placed around the URL for the image to appear, as in [img] URL [/img]
