After about 5 minutes of running even at idle air bubbles start showing up in the fuel line. Can't drive her over about 25 mph or she runs out of fuel at the carburetor. Everything is new from the fuel tank to the carburetor. The amount of air looks like it is boiling. I ran a line from a gas can to the fuel pump so nothing is near the exhaust but still got bubbles. Thank you for any advise.

Well after the purchase of a fuel pressure tester and some more research it appears a lot of people are having problems with new fuel pumps. And the culprit may be the ones made in China. My problem is they work for about 15 minutes and then the pressure drops to 3 PSI and can barely keep enough fuel to the carburetor at idle. Anyone recently purchase a mechanical fuel pump and have success? I have tried Carter, Precision and Delphi and all were made in China

Have you considered rebuilding the one you have? Or having the one you have rebuilt by someone who does this? This guy has a Ebay store and does rebuilds https://www.ebay.com/str/mechanicalandmore?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=EH3n8YSzQS6&sssrc=3418065&ssuid=WwPlIMiHTc-&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
