My 57 keeps breaking the lower alternator bracket. I have been using a header bracket that I have bought at auto zone. I have broken 4 of them that look like this.

Can anyone recommend a good local place in N.W. Dallas I can buy a heavier engine mount bracket. I have seen them on line but I like to touch and feel before I buy.

Something like this bracked would be nice

Have you tried Harry's Hot Rod in Grand Prairie. http://www.harryshotrodautotruck.com/index.mv?Session_ID=43386DE80004AFC000002A7400000000& You should be able to find something at the Good Guys show at the Speedway. I think it's this weekend. They have a lot of chrome goody vendors.

That's right I forgot about the Good Guys show.

I can't drive my car but would like to stop by see any club members showing their car.

Anyone going?

I believe in the quarter meeting they said to meet in the tri five corral is that right?

Acardon are you taking you car? and or is your other club making a showing?

Neal and I are going to have a swap meet booth out at Good Guys on
Friday all day. Don't know what the plan is for Sat.

Call me on my cell phone to find out where we are.
