I can't remember where I read (or was told) about how to identify if a casting piece on a car being judged is "original" or "replacement". Specifically, the casting number and date code do this. What I can't remember is the latest date code for a model year that identifies it as original or replacement for the body's particular year. I have the Judging Manual but can't seem to find the answer in it.
