Over a month ago on our Facebook page, many of you saw our very talented club member Michael Brown's video efforts that he produced and submitted in a Super Bowl commercial contest. If you don't know Michael, he has a pretty extensive collection of cars that not only includes a few Tri Five Chevys, but a nice Vette collection to boot. If you saw Michael's commercials from our Facebook page, then you know just how GREAT they were, but unfortunately he did not make the finals. Regardless, his two Chevy commercials were as good or better in many cases than many that did hit the airwaves during the Super Bowl. Below is a link to the 'behind the scenes' of the making of those two commercials and the commercials themselves - you be the judge ... I think Chevrolet missed an opportunity!

Still shot from one of the commercials

Mike's commercials certainly had my vote for "Chevy runs deep". Hard to argue with Corvettes as leading actors for the Heartbeat of America. And Texas Route 66 was a fitting touch. Look forward to seeing Mike's 2013 entry. Geoff
