What is a digital pulse tachometer and why would I want one? _________________ Texas Classic Chevy Experience

Unless you have an EFI, you probably wouldn't want one. The minus side of a coil is an analog signal for the tach, where a computer may have a tach wire that sends a pulsing square wave or digital signal to the tach.
Unless your referring to the bar graph type readout that has assending taller bars to represent the speed. |

On another board, a 17 year old just bought a 53 chevy with a 6 banger. Someone posted, he should buy one and I don't understand why? _________________ Texas Classic Chevy Experience
