If the weather gods allow us, we'll have a wild flower cruise May 11 starting at the Ferris High School parking lot. Ferris is about 18 miles South of downtown Dallas on I45. To get to the Ferris High School, Take exit 266 off of I45 south, go to the second stop sign (FM 660), turn left (East), go ¾ mile, parking lot is on the left. I'll have route directions there. We plan to leave the parking lot at 12:00. Lunch will be at Don Jose's Restaurant in Ennis.
We'll wrap up the cruise with a stop at the Sugar Ridge Winery
( http://sugarridgewinery.com ) at about 2:00.
Please post a reply here if you are going so I can alert the winery and restaurant. Thanks.
Hope you can make it!

Yeah, I think this kind of cruise is the rewards of our hobby, driving the classics through the country side in spring with friends, flowers, food, and good wine. It just doesn't get any better than that.
All kudos should go to David, though, he's the one with the idea of this outing. _________________ I'm addicted to brake fluid but I can stop anytime I want. |
