From our friends at the Tulsa Classic Chevy Club comes sad news about a great friend to all '55-'57 Chevy enthusiasts Rex Buzan. He passed away June 27th at the age of 80. Rex from Henryetta, Okla loved his Tri Five Chevys, especially the '55 and was one of the best restorers of those in the country. Rex and his wife Myrtle could always be counted on to attend the Lone Star Conventions when he could, and at the Dallas event in 2006 he took the highest award 'Platinum' in the Restored '55 class with his red/white Bel Air seen below
in 2011 at the Lone Star event in Dallas, he took Platinum yet again with his blue/white '55 Bel Air seen below here and his daughter and son in law came also and showed the red/white one and took a Platinum Award also.
in 2008 at the Lone Star event in Waco, Rex's '55 was picked by DACC as the 'Favorite Tri Five Chevy' by our members attending with his blue/white '55 Bel Air. See the Feature story on that car here ..
