I am doing some work on my 10 bolt differential that I have in my 57. Anyone have a pinion depth tool I may borrow? Or, know of a place where I can rent one? I have a dial indicator. Please send me a PM if you have a pinion depth tool.

Also, may I have recommendations on local shops or mail order places where I may buy differential parts. If my 10 bolt is toast, I may rebuild a 57 differential I have that has blown spider and ring gears.

I'd like to keep the 10 bolt if possible due to the face that on my car an original differential is an inch too wide and I have rubbing issues.

Alan

Alan, I have a depth micrometer, from .0" to 6" deep in .001" increments, if that will work.
