Do we have a time to meet at the drive-in? Also any possibility of meeting somewhere close by for dinner before the movie? Do we
know what movie we'll be seeing? Hopefully not The Butler.

No convenient meeting place nearby. The drive in has a canteen with food, beer and wine. Movies start at sunset ( sunset at 7PM for Sept 14 according to almanac)

We'll need to chose movies: ( no kid friendly movies this week Crying or Very sad

)

Movies scheduled:
Riddick, Red 2
The Family, We're the Millers
Insidious 2, Getaway

I've heard that the Millers is very funny, with a few 'f bombs' thrown in, I bet the other two movies have a lot of that.
I can bring my DVD of 'Two Lane Blacktop', if they'll show it.

How does the sound system work at the movies. Do you need a radio in your car to hear the movie. Not all of us have radios in there cars.

The drive in broadcasts on an FM channel. You can use your car radio, a boombox or a radio enabled ipod etc. They have an area up near the canteen that has speakers in case you don't want to sit by your car. You can sit in chairs in front of your car ( like at the Brazos ) and you wagoneers can use your gates if you like.
