The Good, Bad, and Ugly report from Redline....

Luckily for the Baughans' 1937 Chevy coupe crew, the race at Redline was delayed due to computer problems. We lost an idler pulley on the serpentine belt on our truck on the way to the race. We had to wait until Autozone opened, to do a replacement project in the parking lot, but we made it to the race in plenty of time.

Tom was greatly missed, but we had a field of eight drivers racing for team DC! During qualifying, one poor racer (from another club) hit the guardrail, but was uninjured. This set us back a while again, but the weather was great.

Unfortunately, Ken and Rodney, both were eliminated in the first round. This track was tricky, especially the right lane. Tom McGee came out to test and tune his 55 and made it to the second round. Jim, James, and Will, all made it to the semi finals. The white 55 "The Goose" was runner up for Super Pro. Great job to all the guys!

Now for the ugly.. James didn't make it off of the starting line during his semi finals run. He had to be towed to the gas station to wait to get a ride home.

See everyone at Ardmore!
