My '57-'56-'55 build is underway again. Finally going through some rust queens, I've finally sent the '55 to the metal shop to be pounded on. I can do some but I'm not a good welder or body man. Certainly not a painter. I can do most of the mechanicals as evidenced by the chassis but everything I'm pretty much lost. Plus work and home sale leaves little time. The chassis is from a '55-57 extruded (California) frame refitted by Newman's Car Creations for C4 corvette suspension and rear end. The engine is a new RamJet350 with a 200 4R trans. All components powdercoated. I polished out the suspension in my garage. Final polishing was done at Advanced Plating in Ft Worth which is now closed. New brakes. 2003 Corvette forged wheels. '55 has now been blasted as of yesterday and it looks like I'm going to need a drivers side full quarter. ThIMG]http://i61.tinypic.com/r7kwah.jpg[/IMG]ought it was better than that but until it's blasted, one never knows. Anyway, I'm still trying to figurehow to post pics on here but will try to keep up on the progress. Ed Amos'55IMG]http://i61.tinypic.com/ac6cea.jpg[/IMG]IMG]http://i61.tinypic.com/r7kwah.jpg[/IMG]

The open bracket is missing in front of the first "IMG".
Wow. That's quite an improvement. Shocked
