We surely thought that the race in Denton was going to be a rain out on Sunday, especially since we had the transmission replaced just in time, but it ended up being a beautiful day for racing. It was a late start, but it gave time for lots of catching up with racers and once the blue sky broke through, it was wonderful!
There was quite a bit of test and tuning going on yesterday and even one hood that went flying off, but the competition was tough.
As for Team DC, the blazing black '57 made it through one round and the blue '37 went six rounds to the finals to earn the runner up plaque.
Yay, Spring is here! |

I wish I was still racing! To be able to race you have to have the time, money and inclination. I seem to never have all three at the same time.
but if anyone needs a driver; I'm there for you, buddy. _________________ Texas Classic Chevy Experience
