We’ve heard of the “Duke of Paducah” (Benjamin F. “Whitey” Ford was a country comedian, radio host and banjo player popular from the 1940s to the ‘60s) and the Agent is riffing on that with this photo of Tera Graves, who is driving John Hale’s “One Bad Texan” this weekend at the DRO race at Beacon Dragway.

The Agent must admit that this driver is a little bit easier on the eyes. (No offense, John.) She is the first woman driver to race with the series.

Difficult track conditions had her pedaling the car on each run, got two qualifying runs in, won R1 again having to pedal and lost R2. But very successful debut in competition with good decision making behind the wheel and safe racing. She even got some TV time locally, link below
