The DACC recently learned of the passing of Bennie Zimmerman, a huge Chevrolet enthusiast who was a member of the club off and on for many of the past 39 years. Bennie had a number of collector cars, all Chevrolets and many Tri Fives. Born in 1928, Bennie had declining health for the past several years but that didn't always slow him down from enjoying his Chevys! Here is Bennie in 2009 in his '55 Convertible on the club's Spring Cruise with a friend at the wheel! You could always tell if it was one of his cars by the license plate that would have his initials embedded in the plate number. Bennie's '57 Cameo pickup was a Feature 'Truck' back in 2009, check it out at this link ..
