***I'm going, rain or shine. If it's still raining I'll drive my 'modern' car.***
Weather permitting, there will be a short but memorable C4C (thanks, Lucky) so those who didn't go to Springfield because of the torrential rains can get their cruise fix.
On November 7th Meet at the Whataburger at exit 274 off of I45 in Hutchins (South Dallas) for a short leisurely ride thru Ellis County and lunch at the famous Rockett Café and Bar. They are famous for the chicken fried steaks and burgers.
Meet at 11:00 for a 11:30 departure. _________________ I'm addicted to brake fluid but I can stop anytime I want. |

It was a small group but we thoroughly enjoy the scenery and crisp fall weather. The chicken fried steak at the Rockette Restaurant was excellent and plenty of it. It's on our lists of eating places to return to.
Thanks to Linda and Marvin for another fun trip.
