Channel 8 WFAA TV in Dallas will have several segments featuring our club and promoting our club's display at the weekend's Goodguys Rod Show celebrating our 40th Anniversary! This all takes place early Thursday March 10th, so to catch it you have to get up early or set the DVR! Club members Don Andre, Jim Leinart, George Johnson and myself will be at Victory Plaza at 5AM for segments that will appear on the 'Daybreak' news program that runs until 7AM. Hopefully the rain that is in the forecast leading up to this will not interfere as this is a great opportunity for our Tri Five Chevys to get some great exposure! A huge thanks to the club members who will be providing their cars! Don't miss it!

Thursday's TV gig is pulled, the reporter has been reassigned to cover flooding hot spots, in spite we had cars lined up to be there IN THE RAIN! Like Don Andre said, he used waterproof paint so it's not a problem!
SO .. plans are in the works to hopefully slide us into a segment on Friday morning's show, updates will be posted here.

If there is a TV spot I'll record it Remotely.. I'm going out the Marriott Hotel Thursday afternoon and plan to spend the weekend between there and the show at the speedway.
Rain or Shine I will be there as a representative of the DACC.
I hope everyone that had planned on going goes and doesn't let a few showers deter them... I have a pop-up canopy and umbrellas if needed.
I'm with Don, my paint is waterproof too!!
