I was thumbing through some old Bow Tie Chevys magazines and found this poem. Not really a poem guy, I mostly only like, There once was a man from Nantucket... or Roses are Red... poems, yet this poem struck home for me. Alan

Do you just Belong?
Are you an active member, the knd that would be missed,
Or are you just contented that you name is on the list?
Do you attend the meetings and mingle with the crowd,
Or do you stay at home and crab both long and loud?
Do you take an active part to help the cause along,
Or are satisfied to be the kind who just belongs?
There is quite a program schedule that means success if done.
But it to be accomplished needs the help of everyone.
So come to meetings regular and help with heart and hand,
Don’t be just on the list, but take an active hand.
Think this over member, are we right or are we wrong?
Are an active member or do you just belong?
