I have a '55 with a 350 engine and Sanderson 3/4 length headers. I'm not finding them listed on the Sanderson website anymore. I want to change the original steering to power and am thinking the 500 series box. Does anyone know if there would be any clearance issues with these headers?
Thanks!

Can you post a picture of the headers, looking down at the top of your steering box. Or we can take some measurements of the 500 box on my car.

I can't be sure but I think it will fit. I have Sanderson block huggers, but they are a simular design with the inside tubes (3 & 5) on the inboard side of the collector. I think the big part of the 500 box is a little forward of the stock box.
