I have a '55 with a 350 engine and Sanderson 3/4 length headers. I'm not finding them listed on the Sanderson website anymore. I want to change the original steering to power and am thinking the 500 series box. Does anyone know if there would be any clearance issues with these headers?

| Can you post a picture of the headers, looking down at the top of your steering box. Or we can take some measurements of the 500 box on my car. |

I can't be sure but I think it will fit. I have Sanderson block huggers, but they are a simular design with the inside tubes (3 & 5) on the inboard side of the collector. I think the big part of the 500 box is a little forward of the stock box.
