Thinking about replacing my original rear brake drums, on my 56, with some new ones. Looks to be lots of choices, AC Delco, Raybestos, Bendix, Danchuk, etc.
Any advice or observations as to which might be the best? $35.00 to $50.00 seems to be the price range. Mine are rusty and would need to be turned, or at least vigorously cleaned. Wink
I'm putting 69 Chevelle disc brakes on the front.

Well, in removing the rear axles, for new bearings, seals, and lug studs, I broke a hydraulic brake line, so same question for brake line "kits", or what ever. Smile

I would go with Raybestos or Bendix from Rock Auto for the drums and Danchuk for the prebent lines. https://www.danchuk.com/ItemForm.aspx?Item=1468 No telling who makes the Danchuk drums.

Thank you! Can they get the pre-bent lines to me without some "extra" bends?? Wink
