If I can get my car put back together Saturday I plan to attend the TMCC in Thunder Valley Motorsport Park Noble, Oklahoma.

Anyone else like to go?

After a 3-day marathon, I got all the parts of my new crank and water pulleys on, new fan belts and lined up, and moved the radiator in the 6-cylinder position. At first glanced it all seems to be working. But, I tore off the wire to the water temp sensor so I do not know if the new set up will keep the engine cool. Then to top it all off while looking at my work I noticed a pin hole leak at the top of the radiator and steam wafting out of where the coils meet the cap of the radiator.

These problems are bad enough that I am not going take a chance and drive to the drag races in Ok.

I am also worried that the clutch fan I bought on EBay does not work. How can you tell without a water temperature gage? Another worry is that my fan is now 6-inches away from the radiator without a shroud. I wonder how that will affect the effectiveness of the fan’s cooling. I need to put in a shroud for sure.

Are you still having radiator and fan problems? Is it a stock radiator? I have a spare in my garage with an elec fan attached. It was mounted in the 6-cyl position. Let me know if you need it.
