I have a leak in the front seal on the rearend of my 56 Sedan Delivery. I had Lorenz Automotive, in Lewisville repair it twice. However, it is leaking again. Can you recommend someone to take a look at it and repair it?
Thanks,

Dan,
I'm not at that point yet but will be taking my differential somewhere...one day.
I asked the same question on Chevytalk.com and this is the answer that GrayHeadedMule told me:
"The guys name is Tracy. A gentleman in his 50's. Been at the same location 30 years. His shop is one of the old timy shops with the outside lift! I had minoe repairs made to mine ans a wheel seal. It was around $75. Don't know what he would charge for a rebuild!! Give him a call. Really nice fella!"
Here is the contact info:

Dan ... might try tightening the pinon nut .. it could have backed off a little and is causing the leak.. or take it back and ask the shop that installed it to check it .. shouldnt be a big deal to correct ... |

Try Calvert Automotive in Denton. That where I took my Vette rear end to be set up. Good and reasonable. ED |
