Remember that the DACC group outing to the Christian Cruisers car show is on Saturday, August 19.

Last year, about 15 of us met for dinner before the show and had a good time.

We are again meeting for dinner at 5:00 on Saturday the 19th at Joe’s Pasta and Pizza, 420 Grapevine Hwy in Hurst (across from Foreman’s Supply, just south of Mid Cities Blvd in a strip shopping center on the west side of the road). This is a family style, not very expensive Italian restaurant. They allow BYO beer/wine if you wish.

Anyone that wants to join us is welcome.

I will call them a couple of days before to let them know an approximate count, so if you plan on eating with us, please let me know.

Don’t confuse this restaurant with Big Joe’s Pasta and Pizza that is just north of Mid Cities Blvd. If you go to that restaurant and we aren’t there, you need to go another quarter of a mile south and on the opposite side of the street.

I just saw in the paper that the show time has apparently been moved to 8 to 11pm

last year was 5 to 9

need to verify, but if that is the case, we will adjust the dinner meeting time to be later

A GREAT turnout by DACC members for the Christian Classic Cruisers' Sh ow!!!! We had 20 cars registered and won the club participation trophy. Thanks to everyone who turned out for a late night show. It was still very hot...

29 people gathered for Dinner at Joe's Pasta & Pizza before the show and another 12 members made it out to the show later. There were 14 other Classic Chevys brought by non-members. There were a total of 312 cars entered plus another 25-30 not entered.
