go with what you like... especially a car that is going to be driven.. if it's an investment then yes the proper trim would be important ..

Welcome to the DACC forum. I think the majority of the tri-5's are modified, at least under the hood, so different trim than what it was born with is not going to affect the value. The beauty of the 57 is the massive amount of chrome and the Bel-air trim is just icing on the cake.

The way you titled your question is exactly the right call. People change the trim all the time from one model to another even from a 210 to a 150-that's hot rodding! The wrong thing is to call your car what is not. Chevy guys WILL KNOW. The 210 with Bel Air trim was a common modification for the last 50 years. The 210 looks GREAT either way!
