Old Business

Lone Star Convention – July in Houston. Leave Friday July 9 from Northpark and drive to Houston. 4-6 people at meeting are going

August Club Activity – Keller’s Drive in cruise on Saturday evening Aug 7th

Business meetings will be Quarterly instead of every month, that way we can focus on activities rather than meetings

Officers meet together before Quarterly meeting – (David, Larry, Dean, Marvin, Kevin) to discuss things

When running ads in the newsletter's For Sale/Wanted get ads into David by 1st of month to be included in that month's newsletter

New Business

Sponsorships - $100 per month and will be advertised in the newsletter and website, 6 or 12 month terms

Taking 55,56,57’s and taking them to a new level
Fabrication, air, wiring, paint
Do not restore cars to original
Up grade cars
How long does it take to restore something? Depends on what is to be done and how much they can spend.
Shop Manager has 22 years experience, 3 guys, body man, paint man
Basically it’s a Modified Custom Shop

Catalogs from 55-57 Chevy vendors are available to take

Membership was discussed
Over 150 members in the early 90's
Currently membership is just over 50
Need to keep in contact with older, lifetime members
Use business cards to drop in cars you see to recruit members
Print out membership applications from website to give to prospective new members
Suggestion to print extra newsletters to distribute at upcoming local shows
Suggestion to print front page of newsletter and application on back, one page
Club will focus on 55, 56,57 Chevys

New DACC Caps available - $15.00 each

People’s choice award today - vote after meeting

Suggestion to give lifetime members a card that identifies them as a lifetime member, perhaps have a cruise to their house.
