DACC Board Meeting Minutes
1/12/05

Attended by: David Graves, Dean Schmidt, Bill Preston, John Rush, Greg Hedum
The meeting was called to order at 7:15 PM at Bill and Diane Prestonís house.

1) Kevin is finalizing Autorama plans. Our 8 place display may be reduced as Reliable Chevrolet has been approached by David to sponsor the display and perhaps include an SSR in the display. Dean will handle stanchions and floor covering. Cars to be displayed are Steve Pratt, Sharkey Nelson, Ron Davis, Louis Reynolds, Sonny Poteet, and Greg Hedum. Greg will attempt to make up some large posters from old 1955 Chevrolet advertisements that David will send him.

2) The club has 4 spaces in the Fort Worth show. All four spaces have been filled that will include Sharkey Nelsonís 1957 Limo, Sharkey's '55 Hardtop and Morris Stewart's '56 Sedan. Hopefully weíll be able to recruit some members from the western part of the metroplex.

3) Discussion of 2005 Calendar:
A: The March Q1 business meeting will hopefully take place at a new sponsor business. Possibly, Reliable Chevrolet.

B: April activity- Dublin Dr. Pepper plant southwest of Fort Worth

C: May activity- Lone Star Classic Chevy Convention in Victoria, TX

D: June meeting- Q2 business meeting and Dyno Challenge. Site to be announced

E: July(10) activity- Lake Texoma run to meet up with OKC club

F: August activity- Christian Classic Cruisers show

G: September meeting- Q3 business meeting at Arlington Sports Grill

H: October 8 activity- Annual Granbury Drive-in cruise
October 21-23 Fall Foliage Tour

I: November meeting- Q4 business meeting, site to be announced

J: December(11) activity- Christmas Party at Dean and Audrey Schmidtís

4) David passed around copies of letters that he had sent to Chevrolet dealers in the area to introduce the club. He also showed some news articles promoting the club.

5) Final dates and sites for the 2005 Calendar will be published as soon as possible. Additional activities- drag strip nights, other theatre venues etc. were discussed. Ideas are always welcomed.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 PM
