My shifter is starting to stick inbetween gears. Can I get an recomendation on a good place to buy a rebuild kit. I was told I needed to replace the plates and the fiber bushings. If you can give me any words of wisdom on the rebuild or the shifter in general it would be most helpful.

likely you could use the bushings replaced in the linkage to take up any slack you might have .. normally any decent auto parts store will stock them or can order them from the local wholesale warehouse .. if you have plastic bushings you would want the metal bushings to replace them.. then some lubricant on the shifter guts and you should be good to go .. who knows you might take a couple of tenths off that ET .. !
