I have a polished GMC 6-71 blower which I purchased used. I am looking for someone who can go thru it and check it out maybe new bearings if needed etc... Does anyone have any suggestions or know of anyone in the area who has experience with blowers who does rebuilds??

I do not know of any 6-71 rebuilders in the area, but after doing an internet search, I found Dyers that can rebuild them. Also Ebay has rebuild kits for sale. There may be a shop here, but I am not aware of them. Perhaps you could call some of the performance engine machine shops, such as Kim Barr Racing Engines, ET Automotive, or Wayne Calvert Precision Engines in Denton. I personall have used Kim Barr and Wayne Calvert. There are other performance shops in the area, I have just listed a few.
