Well I've replaced the bushings for the linkage at the shifter with the metal bushings. I swear I put everything back the way it was, however, I can't seem to get a smooth action out of it. It seems that the linkage for 1st & 2nd is binding up with reverse. I've tried rotating the linkage for 1st & 2nd , but that can't happen without hitting the casing. I'm trying to keep the flats on the bolts where the linkage secures to the tranny straight up & down for bolting up. From what I remember, that puts it in neutral. Can anyone PLEASE set me straight with a good description or better yet, a photo.
Thank you,
Jody
