Dust to Glory

What a day! We started with a misty muggy day to end with sunshine and early summer heat.

DACC had five members that raced at the Denton Texas Muscle Car Challenge, Sunday, March 30, 2008. Members in attendance were John C, Dennis G, Larry E, Kenneth, and Alan.

John, Dennis and Alan went out in the first round of elimination. Dennis exploded his rear end. To quote Dennis, “It broke into a million pieces.” To put a cherry on top he cracked the casing as well. Alan was first to the line in round one but lost the race since he ran too fast and broke out.

Even though Larry still had a bogging problem, he won multiple rounds. Nothing could beat him except a red light.

Kenneth was the glory of the club. He whopped them all to become a class winner. Way to go Kenneth!

wow.. wished I could have been there .. nice job by Larry and Kenneth!! Especially Kenneth for taking the class! and thanks to Alan for the report, photos and video!! sorry to hear that Dennis had the rear end issue, guess that new motor found the weak link!
