I guess it's my CRS coming out again. It's H--L getting old.
The number I mentioned as my VIN number was actually the motor number on the title.
The VIN is on the metal tag on the door jam of the driver's door.
It is VC55S229356.
I think V means V8, C is Bel Air series,55 is the model year, S means assembled in St. Louis, 229356 is the consecutive sequence number.This means the car was assembled around the middle of July to the best of my knowledge.
