Our club has quite a reputation for putting together wheelchair ramps thanks to the leadership of Larry Rollow, and after a Saturday of building ramps as we do each Christmas, club members came together the next day on Sunday and put in a wheelchair ramp for a club member in need - Bennie Zimmerman. Bennie recently became in need of a wheelchair and along with that a ramp to enter and exit his home. Larry Rollow quickly mobilized and put together a plan and with the help of myself, Marlene Irey, Marvin and Donna Johnson, Dan Bunch and George Johnson we built Bennie a beautiful ramp. Thanks to the members who pitched in with a short notice and especially Larry Rollow for all his leadership and time devoted to this and many other worthwhile efforts.
