Bob Caruth sent this to me and I had to share it .. quite amazing the number of old American cars that are running the streets of Havana .. the '57 Chevy convertible with the Japanese diesel engine is something else!

My wife and I were in Cuba in 2003 and, as said above, lots of American cars. I saw several Corviars that had been converted to front engin, rear drive. It shows the length they go to to keep their US made autos running. The newest I saw was a 1961. |
