Interesting. I wonder why this has not been done before? Nascar must not allow this set up because breaking valve springs seems to be the biggest problems to engine reliability. Or that is the excuse the driver always gives.

Heck, they've used compressed air (probably nitrogen) for valve train pressure in Formula One for years, thats how they rev them to 18k.
