something I learned about recently is how to prevent or at least minimize electrolysis in the radiator .. when you run a aluminum radiator or an aluminum performance cylinder head on an iron engine block with pure copper head gaskets, anodes are highly suggested, I installed the JC Whitney 'Radiator Corrosion Inhibitor' anode in my vette .. the idea is to provide a sacrificial metal in the radiator to minimize the electrolysis ..

I have been reading about this problem, some articles and a few discussions. It apparently is a problem and with all the aluminum I have I should get one or two. Alan, I need one for my '57 and one for my '49 so maybe if we order we can save some shipping charges. It is a small price to pay to protect an expensive investment. I think the 'drop-in' type is the most logical, at least for me.
